I am a researcher/photographer and PhD research fellow currently exploring the visuality of energy development in remote rural and island landscapes. I am skilled in using and teaching a range of visual methodologies, including Photovoice, photo-elicitation and digital storytelling in research, research dissemination, and higher education. Recent projects also include teaching and conducting image based digital storytelling as part of the Capacity Building for Managing Climate Change in Malawi (CABMACC) programme and digital storytelling training and facilitation for the H2020 R&I project, ICT4COP, which explored community policing and police reform in post-conflict settings.
