I have extensive experience of working in executive management positions (Chairman/CEO/CFO) across a variety of organisations and industries. These include family owned companies, subsidiaries of Irish and UK multinationals, a Grey market plc (NTR) and fully listed PLC (Esat Telecoms) Acted as CEO of companies with employees of 250 (Irish Broadband), 600 (Greenstar) and (EsatBT) and worked in telecoms, recycling, renewable energy including wind, printing and a productivity implementations consultancy. My significant corporate finance experience includes leading specialist corporate finance teams which completed multiple M&A transactions covering acquisitions, disposals and varied fund raisings. Some of the transactions I was involved in include the sale of Greenstar Recycling for over $200m, successful defence of Esat against hostile takeover by Telenor, multiple acquisitions for Esat including POSTGEM for €100m and negotiation of joint venture with an Irish Semi State company. Fund raising experience includes bank refinancing, securing mezzanine facility, multiple equity and bond fund raisings and securing listings on both Irish Stock Exchange and NASDAQ A proven track record also includes negotiating with regulators, Government departments, other state bodies and an ability to prioritise, and respond to, the diverse needs of Shareholders/Owners, the Board of Directors, Lenders, Executive Management Team and organisational departments.
