About Neil Plugge

Neil is currently leading IT Business Relationship Management supporting Finance at Scoular in the Business Enablement pillar. Some of the position responsibilities include – • Partner with business leadership to plan new initiatives and determine how they fit into business strategy and priorities • Develop a deep knowledge of the business unit and build positive relationships, both horizontally and vertically • Stay current on industry trends and digital advances with potential for alignment against business needs Prior to his current role Neil was a Manager in the Vendor Management Organization (VMO) at Conagra Brands leading the Software Asset Management strategy supporting and partnering with IT technical leaders, platform and shared service application owners, procurement, vendor, and outsourcing team members to ensure compliance and mitigate risk within the IT Software Portfolio and providing Governance around contract renewals to identify risks and opportunities to reduce technical debt. Prior to that, Neil lead IT Business Relationship Management at Conagra Brands with partnerships across multiple business functions providing leadership and evaluating how technology can support business strategies. Customers included Global Business Services (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Customer Order Management, Automation COE, Data Management Organization, and Consumer Care), Human Resources, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Corporate Communications. Neil worked for Conagra Brands for 23 years. He spent the first 10 years in Finance and held positions in Financial Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Process Improvements. He has participated in system conversions, divestitures, and acquisitions in different levels of leadership. In 2008 at Conagra Brands, Neil transitioned to IT Finance to help lead the Commercial SAP General Ledger Project. Following a successful go live Neil went on to manage the IT Finance AP /Treasury team, in his next IT role he led the IT Finance & Controlling Team (FICO) team supporting Financial and Supply Chain Accounting and Financial Master Data and later transitioned to manage IT Financial Reporting supporting the Integrated Business Planning and Forecasting processes. Neil joined the Scoular team in July 2021. Prior to joining Conagra Brands and Scoular, Neil worked in public accounting. Neil attended Midland Lutheran College, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and the University of Nebraska-Omaha and hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting.
