Mr. Stevenson serves as the Town Manager and Director of Planning and Development for the Town of Ingalls, Indiana. In his role, he oversees the town's daily operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and effective governance. His responsibilities include: Administrative Leadership: Mr. Stevenson provides guidance and support to municipal staff and departments as the chief administrative officer, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment. Budgeting and Financial Management: Mr. Stevenson plays a pivotal role in developing the town's budget, collaborating with department heads and the Clerk-Treasurer. He actively engages with residents, attends community meetings, and addresses concerns and inquiries, acting as a liaison between elected officials, departments, and the public. Strategic Planning: Mr. Stevenson actively contributes to long-term planning and development, participating in the creation of comprehensive plans, economic development initiatives, and infrastructure projects. Before his current position, Mr. Stevenson was the Principal Planner and Urban Designer for the Madison County Council of Governments (MCCOG). In this role, he was responsible for comprehensive community development planning, graphics, digital media, and website design. He has been involved in various planning projects, including the development of land use guidelines for the Town of Markleville and comprehensive plans for the Town of Frankton, the Town of Fortville, and the Town of Lapel. He has also co-authored planning documents such as mobility studies and comprehensive plans for different municipalities. With over 15 years of experience, Mr. Stevenson specializes in comprehensive and community planning, land use studies, downtown revitalization, feasibility studies, and grant writing. He has expertise in graphics software, including ArcGIS, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
