Over 34 years of experience in the specialised transport and lifting sector have provided the skills and knowledge that have enriched both me and Mammoet and enabled our company to deliver to our clients safe and efficient solutions as part of a collaborative team. The global experience gained whilst working with Mammoet has provided a wealth of understanding of diverse solutions, expectations and environmental challenges faced by our clients when planning their projects. What we offer as trusted advisors is distinctive, bespoke transport and lifting solutions. Throughout my career at Mammoet, I have embarked on a remarkable journey, displaying my expertise and contributions as an SPMT Subject Matter Expert. Starting as a Trailer Operator in a small team of 3 within the UK operations team, I quickly demonstrated my skills in transporting heavy loads, paving the way for my progression within the company. The brevity of my experience is beyond the scope of this report; therefore, I will summarise key operations and experiences spanning my 32-year career at Mammoet. Over this time, I have undertaken the roles of trailer operator, supervisor, superintendent, site manager, project manager/technical advisor, sales account manager, and SPMT SME. We have a unique global network and an unparalleled fleet of equipment. Our extensive engineering expertise and high-quality and safety standards deliver value to a wide breadth of industry sectors and projects. Clients trust us to help them achieve feats that were once considered impossible, and we have often broken records in doing so. In conclusion, my history and development at Mammoet extended beyond hands-on operations as I embraced the role of a sought-after SPMT Subject Matter Expert. I take pride in being a trusted resource, collaborating with engineers/operations/sales personnel, and senior management. I am now leading the SPMT training and development. I will endeavour to leave a lasting impact on the organisation's heavy lifting and transport capabilities by transferring my skills and expertise to the next generation. The experience and opportunities afforded to me whilst being part of a market-leading global organisation have been attributed to my diverse roles, meticulous coordination, and exceptional leadership skills.
