There is an exciting new challenge that awaits you every day!” I grew up in South Eastern Alberta. Starting my career in protective services in 1990 when I joined as a volunteer ambulance driver for Flagstaff Ambulance. My education and career path have provided many opportunities for growth and new challenges over the past 20 years. After 8 years of working as a Divisional Manager/EMT-A for Prairie EMS in Two Hills, AB, and having an opportunity to work overseas in Kyrgizstan for Prairie International Inc, I furthered my education and became a registered Paramedic in In 2006, a new career path presented itself as I pursued a childhood dream of becoming a member of the RCMP, being posted in Peace River December of that year. Through community involvement a new growth and challenge presented itself with the Peace River Fire Department. I accepted a position as full-time Deputy Fire Chief in April 2008, responsible for day to day operations and assisting with creating an “Advanced” Care First Response program unique to Peace River and the North. September 2012, I joined the Advanced Paramedic team as a flight Paramedic, later taking on the role of Operations Manager in early 2013. I look forward to the opportunities in growth and challenges in becoming an industry leader through cost effective quality care.
