I am a proven leader working to accelerate the most exciting cultural shift of the 21st Century: the rise of women leaders. I created Take Our Daughters to Work Day, with the Ms. Foundation for Women in 1993, in which over 25 million people participated in the first two years. I then expanded my strategic communications consultancy to develop winning campaigns, strategies and events for dozens of clients including the YWCA, Amnesty International, Gay Men’s Health Crisis, The Sierra Club, Calvert, The Sister Fund and the NGO Forum on Women in Beijing ’95. Nell Merlino is a creative force who inspires women and girls, men and boys. Nell mobilized over 25 million people to take girls’ ambitions seriously in the early years of Take Our Daughters to Work Day. In strategic partnerships with global companies including Walmart, American Express, Cartier, and AIG, Count Me In presented thousands of women with access to $billions to grow their businesses. A presence across all media platforms for decades, Nell tells the stories of women’s success, their challenges, and the wonder of women’s transformation.Nell’s latest project, Crown Quest is a continuation of her life’s work, designed to inspire women who are in life, leadership, and relationship transition through art.
