About Nelly Kremko

I have over 20 years experience in Records and Information Management within the public and private sector. As Manager, Information and Records Management I am involved in the establishment and ongoing development of internal procedures and business rules, both for general staff as well as how Records and Information Services should manage staff enquiries. In this capacity I am also required to provide advice to other business units as to how they can improve their information management performance through the establishment or redevelopment of business rules and processes and how they interact with clients.I have experience in working in complex and sensitive environments as organisations in which I have worked cover a wide range of information types and apply to a diversity of stakeholders. This includes protecting private and confidential information from unauthorised access while ensuring appropriate personnel can still access the information they require.I have been responsible for implementing and managing ongoing upgrades of several organisations' recordkeeping software, particularly HP TRIM Context. This included the development and deployment of a range of supplemental information management processes and business rules. These complex projects require the coordination of a number of administrative systems, the implementation of a range of technical changes and the coordination of different business units. I am highly skilled in RecWin, TRIM Context, Objective Hummingbird and have worked with IT professionals to develop policy and procedures for the control of information. In the dynamic environment in which I work, I am often required to operate autonomously, engage in active problem solving and exercise my own judgment in accordance with the general principles and guidelines set by management. Although I am given a great deal of autonomy, I am also required to effectively communicate my activities on a regular basis.
