About Nelson Assis

I started my career working with Enterprise Systems used for collaboration and became passionate about the Open Source world and the cloud. I am graduated in Computer Networking at Centro Universitário UNA and I am passionate about technology. I have always been obsessed with customer success and outcomes, asking questions to learn more about the big picture, long-term goals, challenges, and concerns using my experience to propose long-lasting solutions and being cost-effective. I have set up Kubernetes clusters on bare-metal servers, managed on-prem infrastructure, migrated production workloads, created automated synthetic tests, automated deployment and release processes, troubleshot live production issues under pressure, and more. I love containers, the cloud, automation, and collaboration. I wouldn't be able to make and achieve as much if it wasn't for all the great professionals I met on the way, which I am really grateful for.
