About Nensi Patel

Hi everyone, My name is Nensi Patel. I was born and raised in Panama and moved to the United States about four years ago. Currently, I live in Texas. I’ve been a nurse for almost two years now, and it’s hard to believe how fast the time has flown—I still feel like a new graduate sometimes! After moving from Panama, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. My first job was on a pediatric facility, where I worked for about two months before relocating to Texas. There, I spent about a year on a medical-surgical telemetry unit. Now, I’m working on a Progressive Care Unit in Texas, which primarily focuses on cardiac patients but also cares for surgical and trauma cases. Currently, I am pursuing my Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN), with my ultimate goal of becoming a Nurse Practitioner. I am excited to learn new things in this program, and be able to apply them into my nursing career. In my free time, I love spending time with family and friends, watching movies and shows, grabbing coffee with friends, and traveling whenever I can. Thank you, Nensi
