About Netta Caligari

Hi, I’m Netta! A connector, listener, and community builder at heart. I care deeply about supporting people, especially those working in complex systems that aren’t always built with them in mind. For more than a decade, I’ve worked alongside colleges and public-interest teams to turn good ideas into thoughtful, people-focused work. In June 2025, I joined Internet2 as Director of Community Engagement for the Minority Serving – Cyberinfrastructure Consortium (MS-CC), a national initiative that advances technology, research and workforce development at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs), and other Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs). Before stepping into this role, I worked with MS-CC as a consultant leading communications for their 2025 Annual Meeting. Prior to that, I served as Community Lead at West Arete and as the InCommon Community Success Manager at Internet2, collaborating across institutions to help bring people together around shared values. What motivates me most is creating environments where people feel seen, included, and supported, and the work we’re doing together is actually impactful for everyone involved.
