About Nevada T.

I believe that my education, experience, and background make me an excellent match for client-centered work. Currently, I am in the process of completing my degree at York University. Recently, I completed my diploma in Social Service Work at Humber College with a focus on Women's Services and a special interest in both the areas of Mental Health and Addiction as well as Domestic Violence. Between my time at Humber College and York University, I have upwards of ten years of experience working in an Administrative capacity across sectors including private, professional, and not-for-profit. What motivates me is empowering others and the pursuit of social change and justice! I take a deep sense of personal enjoyment and satisfaction from providing superior client support in a professional helping capacity. My strengths include but are not limited to my ability to build and maintain strong relationships, as well as my threshold for handling highly stressful situations, strong active listening, and critical thinking abilities with a high degree of emotional intelligence. These coupled with lived experience, and my willingness to learn, improve, and take on new challenges - make me a compassionate, distinctive, and exceptional advocate for others.
