About Neville Crenshaw

A lifelong nerd and museum enthusiast, I've been fortunate enough to spend the majority of my career working to bring my passion for important ideas and "wow" moments to my community.Harnessing skills developed over a 15+ year career in direct guest-facing roles, I have the honor of working with a strong and diverse team connecting the wonderful objects, experiences, and ideas we host to our visitors. We make a habit of taking complex ideas and putting them in accessible, personal terms. We aim to inspire everyone to look more closely at the world around us, and in many ways, have served as ambassadors for cultures near and far or for concepts big and small. As an educator, my love has always been telling the human stories that connect us to the big ideas. As a manager, my role has always been to support my wonderful team and to create environments in which they feel free to be themselves. That freedom brings out the best, most honest conversations, and separates a good experience from a memorable one. Teaching someone a fact they might remember is not nearly so important as giving them a feeling they'll never forget.
