Lecturer and industry collaborator with 13+ years of combined experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, biopharmaceutical workforce development, and higher education. I specialise in curriculum design, GMP and compliance training, and industry-linked projects that bridge classroom learning with real-world practice.At Republic Polytechnic, I have served as Module Chair for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology and Current Good Manufacturing Practices, leading both Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education & Training (CET) programmes. I partner with industry leaders such as Takeda, Roche, Lonza, and Sanofi to deliver applied learning experiences, supervise Final Year Projects, and mentor students through extended internships.Key contributions include:Curriculum Innovation: Designed and delivered CET modules on GMP and Lean Six Sigma, impacting >200 adult learners annually.Industry Collaboration: Developed applied projects with pharma MNCs, preparing graduates for upstream/downstream biologics manufacturing and MSAT roles.Digital Learning Transformation: Pioneered blended and e-learning in GMP and quality, integrating tools such as Power BI, Kahoot, and Mentimeter to enhance learner engagement.Student Development: Mentored >30 students on projects and internships, with many progressing into industry roles and scholarship pathways.Academic credentials include an M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Science & Technology (NUS, 2018), Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (2019), and certifications in Scrum Mastery (2020) and Data Analytics (2021).I am passionate about building biopharmaceutical capability in Singapore, particularly in MSAT, downstream processing, and digital enablement of pharma manufacturing. My goal is to shape the next generation of pharma professionals while strengthening academia–industry collaborations that drive sector competitiveness.Outside of work, I channel the same discipline and resilience into endurance sports — having completed 46 marathons, 10 half-Ironman races, and 2 Ironman triathlons — and use these experiences to inspire learners in perseverance, focus, and continuous improvement.
