About Nga Pham

I am an Intellectual Property Consultant with expertise in trademark prosecution in Vietnam and South East Asian region. I have experience working and advising a wide range of clients, from individuals, domestic start-ups to the largest and most recognizable brands in the luxury and fashion industries around the world. As an IP Consultant and Team Leader at Schmitt & Orlov IP Firm in Hanoi, Vietnam, I have had the privilege of advising and supporting clients in protecting their brands and portfolio. Specializing in trademark prosecution within Vietnam and the Southeast Asian region, I have developed expertise in various aspects of intellectual property law. From providing pre-filing advice and conducting trademark searches to handling new applications, renewals, and enforcement matters, I am adept at navigating both contentious and non-contentious trademark issues. Additionally, I have focused on patent and industrial design prosecution within Vietnam, as well as engaging in industrial property enforcement activities. Currently, I am a LLM Candidate in International Trade Law from the ITCILO in Italy. My academic pursuit was supported by a prestigious scholarship from ITCILO, recognizing my commitment to excellence in this field. Prior to that, I completed my LLB at Hanoi Law University in Vietnam, where I excelled academically with a commendable GPA of 3.52/4. Additionally, I achieved a notable IELTS score of 8.0, showcasing my proficiency in English. I was also the President of the English Club of Law during my time there. As an enthusiastic learner, I had the privilege of participating in the WIPO-UNIGE Summer School in Intellectual Property. This prestigious program, organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the University of Geneva (UNIGE), provided me with a unique platform to delve deeper into the intricacies of intellectual property law. Engaging with esteemed professionals and fellow participants, I gained invaluable insights and expanded my knowledge in this ever-evolving field. This enriching experience further reinforced my dedication to intellectual property and its vital role in fostering innovation and creativity. Driven by my passion for international trade law and intellectual property, I am committed to making a positive impact in the field.
