About Nia Rochon

I am a person who is dedicated to learning, leadership, and making a positive impact on others, and regardless of my age, I have striven to showcase these attributes in my day to day life. Throughout my undergraduate experience at Indiana University, I made it my mission to join organizations that allowed me to nurture and showcase my ability to lead a team towards accomplishing specific goals. Organizations like Women in Business, Mu Beta Lambda Business Fraternity, Inc, the William R. Fry Scholars Program, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. all provided me great opportunities to accomplish this goal and not only develop myself into a more well rounded individual, but further develop myself into a stronger leader. Since completing my undergraduate experience and earning my bachelors degree in Marketing and Apparel Merchandising from the Kelley School of Business, I began my career as a Social Media Specialist for Global Marketing at Berry Global. I utilized technical skills from my schooling along with a deep desire to challenge myself, to make great strides in my professional development in the limited time I spent at Berry. From sourcing original content to be shared with an audience of over followers, to collaborating across divisions globally to tell Berry's story holistically, I acquired so much knowledge and experience that I could have never imagined. Today, I am pursuing my Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing full-time while freelancing my passion and expertise in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing under my own entity, Nia Michele Media & Design.
