I have gained valuable work experience, with particular focus on a good understanding of customer service and meeting client requirements, in a variety of industries through placements and working while studying. Having underpinned my knowledge with formal qualifications I am seeking a role where these attributes will add value to an organisation. In my most recent role of Inspection Technical Support, I assist the inspection department in delivering the planned maintenance schedule for the year, through processing of inspection reports and remedial work. As in my previous role I also assist with the production of inspection workpacks for piping, vessel and ad-hoc inspections on site, detailing any NDT requirements that may be necessary for the inspections based on previous inspection reports. My previous experience includes working a CAD Technician within the Asset Integrity team for Oceaneering International Services LTD. Our team has been tasked with updating and clarifying a historic drawing file, for Total UK LTD, to allow for the new drawings to be used for current NDT inspections carried on North Sea oil rigs. As a Stock Control Leader for a leading home store. This role involved managing large deliveries within a team, maintaining high warehouse standards and carrying out stock investigations. I was asked to work for MacDonald Hotels, using my CAD skills to produce fire routes and plans for the rooms, as well as to aid customers where necessary with maintenance issues. I carried out preliminary redesigns to the entrance layout of the hotel leisure centre to include a children’s play frame. This went on to become a very successful project to the Hotel. I have also carried out administration and mapping work for a Rural Consultancy Business, where my administration and MS office skills were demonstrated and spent a summer labouring on a building site to gain practical experience of the theory I had learned about in my studies.
