About Niamh Lennon

Graduated from UCD last year with a first class honours (1:1) Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical, Health and Life Sciences. I undertook a broad range of subjects during my studies, mainly focusing on pharmacology, microbiology and genetics in final year. I have experience working in clinical, research and quality control laboratory settings, as a medical laboratory aide, an undergraduate research assistant and QC analyst respectively. Currently employed by CPL on a contract role in Pfizer Grange Castle. I am passionate about biomedical science, the advancement of our understanding of human pathophysiology mechanisms and the pathways of progression from healthy to disease states in the body. Therefore, a specific area of interest is the generation of technologies to benefit human health, by aiding in the development of new and improved treatments and diagnostic/ prognostic tools. Hence, I am currently seeking employment opportunities that will allow me to use my diverse skill set and pursue a career in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology.
