I am a dynamic professional with a diverse background in engineering, cost-out initiatives, and business management. She holds an MBA from Louisiana Tech University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from McNeese State University. I began my career as an R&D Engineer at Dresser Consolidated Valves, where I honed my technical skills and gained valuable experience in product innovation. Seeking new challenges, I transitioned to a Lead Development Engineer role at GE Oil & Gas, further expanding my expertise and contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge technologies. Driven by a passion for driving efficiency and maximizing productivity, my career took a pivotal turn when I assumed the role of Global Direct Material Productivity (DMP) Leader at GE Oil & Gas's Consolidated product line. In this capacity, I spearheaded initiatives to reduce spend across direct and indirect materials while simultaneously increasing production and engineering productivity across the product line on a global scale. My ability to implement effective cost-out measures led to significant improvements and financial savings for the company. In 2016, I joined DIS-TRAN Steel as a Business Analyst, leveraging my engineering background and analytical skills to drive informed decision-making and optimization of business processes. Recognizing my leadership qualities, I was entrusted with managing the accounting team, where I implemented streamlined processes to enhance accuracy, visibility, and productivity. Recently, I achieved a significant career milestone as I moved into the role of Procurement Manager at DIS-TRAN Steel. Drawing upon her extensive engineering expertise, cost-out experience, and change acceleration skills, I am developing a world-class procurement program over the coming years. My passion for exceeding expectations and challenging the status quo infuses my work with a sense of excitement and a commitment to driving results. I find joy in helping others unlock their full potential. I take pride in mentoring and developing individuals, empowering them to reach new heights of success. In my most important role, I find fulfillment in raising my teenage son and daughter. Hailing from Lake Charles, LA, I hold a special affinity for the Gulf of Mexico beaches, particularly during the winter months. This connection to nature's strength and beauty serves as a source of inspiration and rejuvenation. With my dedication to excellence and unwavering determination, I continue to strive to make a lasting impact in the people and projects I lead and beyond.
