I started as an RN at Erickson Living supervising CNAs, managing 100+ patients on a weekly and monthly basis, and communicating with doctors and other healthcare professionals. I moved on from Erickson Living to work as a nurse at an acute care rehab hospital where, during each shift, I was responsible for the care of 8-10 patients with complex and acute medical conditions. Currently I am working for a specialty urology clinic where I started as a float nurse covering doctor and PA clinics and procedures, as well as working with the radiation oncologist, conducting nurse visits, and facilitating immunotherapy infusions. I have moved on from the float nurse role to that of the nurse navigator working with advanced prostate cancer patients.
