I credit both the Dalton School and the Westminster School for having rigorous English programs. If the job for which I am being considered requires writing, and or editing, I am qualified and can take direction. I am a competent ProTools engineer. After learning engineering through Berklee's on line course on a capable Digidesign TDM rig in the summer of 2003, I operated a small home studio, first in the Berkeley Hills and later in Marin County, working with local bay area talent. Regrettably, the ProTools studio is now closed due to obsolescence and changes in the industry that have severely reduced demand.(Everyone has his or her own rig). I am still available as a freelance videographer with a functioning Canon XL I camera, and I am more than happy to act as a ProTools coach for those needing help walking through the four modes of editing etcetera. Specialties: Creative Writing is my current calling. I continue to claim expertise as an audio video engineer, if getting hired either field is unlikely. When Oberlin had a film department in my earliest days there we worked with celluloid. Avid and ProTools have brought things many miles from MovieLab™. I am also a song and dance man, entertainer, improvisor gardener, botanist. bonsai specialist. restoration consultant. carpenter, woodworker, plumber, caretaker; Jack of all trades, master of some.
