About Nicholas Busuttil
Nick is an Applied Sport Biomechanist and co-owner of The Movement Institute. He has supported athletes across various sports, from youth to elite levels, including top-tier tennis players like Felix Auger-Aliassime (ATP #7) and Tung-lin Wu (ATP #166) and other highly ranked WTA and ATP athletes from data-driven sports analytics. During his PhD in coaching science, focusing on biomechanics and skill acquisition for tennis, Nick worked as a research assistant and subject tutor. This experience led to an ongoing collaborative project with the Boston Red Sox. He has also worked in collaboration with the New York Yankees and the Australian Defense Force in similar roles. Currently, Nick is a Teaching Focused Academic in Biomechanics at Victoria University and a Performance Tennis Coach at the Maribyrnong Sports Academy. He was part of the coaching team that won the 2022 Tennis Australia National High School Challenge and placed third in 2023 (now the Gallipoli Youth Cup).
