Currently, I am a Disease Intervention Specialist at the Colorado Department of Public & Environment while simultaneously pursuing a Master's in Public Health with a concentration in Leadership and Public Health Practice from the Colorado School of Public Health.As a Hospital Corpsman First Class Petty Officer in the United States Navy Reserves, I have deployed to global hotspots, including Djibouti, Africa, and Japan, gaining invaluable experience in providing emergency care under varied conditions, conducting multinational medical training, and fostering international collaborations.Proud to be a Medical Education Intern with the International Rescue Committee in Denver, I'm committed to leveraging my broad healthcare experience to impact Refugee/immigrant health. Driven by my passion for global health, I'm always seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge, engage in meaningful projects, and make a significant contribution to public health worldwide, with a specific focus on communicable diseases, particularly Neglected Tropical Diseases in Sub-Saharan Africa.
