About Nicholas Craig

Hi I’m Nicholas Craig and I’ve recently completed my Sports Management/Business degree at Victoria University. I’ve always had a passion for sport and as a result have always been involved with sport as a player, supporter, volunteer and as a coach. As a 13 year old my dream of playing elite level sport came to an end due to medical issues. But even after that tough period working in the sporting industry has always been a dream. I like to share my story as I believe that regardless of your situation you can feel apart of your local club. In my work experiences I’ve learned so many skills which range from serving customers at a cinema to creating my own personal live stat taking system (on Microsoft Excel) for Pascoe Vale Football Club. A role in which I’m still apart of today. Recently I also completed a 6 month internship with the Adelaide Crows in which I worked in the recruitment department managing their database as well as completing analysis on potential drafteesI am proud to say that I’m a founding member and now the lead ambassador for Tennis Victoria’s Play It Forward program. A project I’ve been really proud to be apart of. Over the last 3 years I’ve had so many life changing experiences which have ranged from media work to assisting at the Australian Open. I’ve also got to work with great people in the tennis community which have provided me with lots of advice and perspectives I can take into my career.
