About Nicholas Decheine

I am a research software engineer and particle astrophysics scholar. What captivates me most is neutrino oscillations, scientific instrumentation research and development, and most of all, storytelling.My few years of my undergraduate I worked on extensive computational physical simulations using GEANT4-based Reactor Analysis Tool RAT alongside researchers at SNOLAB. Involved with the neutrino experiment Ricochet developing electronics simulation framework, simulation data analysis, and documentation.I am currently learning more postgresSQL for a database for a fun side project, learning more ReactJS for frontend, and expanding my practice of C++.I wish to put my technical skills to use for a cause or product that truly matters.The human experience propagates through storytelling; the pursuit of physics seeks to tell the most fundamental stories of how our universe functions. Collaboration with brilliant minds to tell the deeper story is what gets me out of bed in the morning.
