I'm interested in the field occupational biomechanics & ergonomics. My research objective is to reduce the prevalence of work-related musculoskeletal disorders, through enhancement of our knowledge on human capability, function and performance. Specifically, I utilize in vivo and in silico approaches to assess occupationally relevant variables (i.e. work characteristics and/or worker attributes) on the internal (neurophysiological) and external (mechanical) responses of the neuromuscular system.
