About Nicholas della Torri

I am a motivated and results-oriented audio and video production professional with over 10 years of experience in creating and editing video packages utilizing cutting-edge equipment and technology and assisting in all aspects of production from talent evaluation and recruitment to production documentation and the archiving of media. I have worked in support of remote productions enabling audio communications and clear video feeds and participated in the coordination of on-location, live video shoots. I am currently the Senior Replay Operator/Editor for MLB Advanced Media in New York, NY. In this role, I am focused on operating multiple camera inputs for the leagues replay playback system. I support the Instant Replay functionality for the studio feeding multiple ballparks in real-time. I have worked several special projects, including the construction of the back-up Instant Replay facility in San Francisco, installing, tagging, and inventorying the technical assets on the project. On top of the special projects, I am called upon to help in the development of the Replay Operations Center's custom applications, create training materials and conduct training for technicians and editors, and manage the digital media library for archival purposes. Colleagues know me as a highly creative professional who can always be trusted to come up with a new approach. I am constantly learning about production methods and techniques and continue to study for the betterment of myself and my clients. Although my results-driven work ethic has been a big part of my advancement in the industry, I have been lucky to work alongside some great managers, colleagues, and staff.
