Project/Operations Management – Coordinate with executives to develop projects, allocate funds and determine timelines including prototype developments, equipment procurement, and alternative method implementation. Organize contractors and equipment suppliers for seamless system installation and integration within existing systems. Set up, document, and train staff on new systems and methods. Ensure supplies and equipment are up to date for all operations staff. Schedule staffing for vacations and holidays.Research and Development – Research existing industry equipment and methods for use in current systems, such as optimizing population densities using alternative food sources and upgrading equipment for faster processing times. Develop and test new experimental methods for potential improvements. Build prototypes of novel systems for experimental testing. Train staff to run and document new experiments.Data Analysis – Collect, transcribe, and analyze data including bird point counts, water sampling, grassland plant species identification, and insect growth rates, among others. Determine research questions and select the appropriate statistical analyses to generate accurate unbiased outputs. Use various programs for data manipulation/analysis and write original python codes for analysis.
