About Nicholas Eddy
My initial work experiences were in the construction industry, first at a yacht shipyard, and then as a fire sprinkler installer. Following that is my decade long background working as a licensed contract security professional in both a corporate setting and as a doorman in highscale downtown liquor establishments. During this time I also spent two years working in IT technical support help desk, but found it did not meet my career interests. In 2011, twenty years after my first foray into skilled labor, I returned with an interest in architectural glass. In 2016, after becoming a certified Red Seal Journeyman Glazier that same year, I applied for and recieved a Working Holiday Visa for New Zealand. I moved there and continued my trade for the following two years, with the intention of expanding my knowledge in the industry from an international perspective. My goal is to continue to travel and work, with the intention of furthering my knowledge in this field beyond what would be achievable by remaining geographically stationary.
