In the past 2 1/2 years, I've had the great fortune to work at one of the most prestigious contemporary music schools in the world. I am responsible for overseeing and supporting a wide array of rooms in which I aid faculty, students, as well as directly supporting the hardware, and software technologies in these rooms. I have been involved in planning, coordinating, and executing massive multi thousand dollar computer replacement overhauls in between semesters, as well as installing and testing new gear to ensure smooth operation during the semester. It's also typical to oversee and manage a number of student employees on a given night in multiple capacities. While this job is specialized, at the core, this job is centric around customer service I've also been lucky enough to work in music retail for the past 3 years as a rental associate and a sales associate. In that time I have been recommending gear to customers, selling extended warranties, created online orders, have experience setting up and coordinating multi-thousand orders for customers, and working together with my co-workers to meet sales goals at the end of each month. Helping people make music is such a rewarding feeling and is something I love doing just as much as making music. I also have experience dealing with children for ages 3-10 for 7 years, which deeply developed my communication skills and ability to deal with high stress situations. I've also taught myself how to record, mix and master audio over a time span of about 8 years. I have experience with daws such as Logic, Ableton, Protools, Reason, and Cubase with the desire to learn more. I'm extremely familiar with Mac systems and can also get around windows proficiently.
