About Nicholas Grant

As Director of Government Relations for Lee Health, I work at the intersection of healthcare, policy, and community by advocating for initiatives that strengthen our community-based health system and expand access to quality care. With more than a decade of experience in government affairs and political strategy, I help secure critical state and federal funding, shape policy outcomes, and build coalitions that support hospitals, providers, and the communities they serve. At Lee Health, I’ve helped secure funding for a new state-of-the-art data center, the build-out of our Graduate Medical Education program space, and a mobile healthcare unit that expands access to care across Southwest Florida. My work also includes advancing key behavioral health, trauma, and children’s hospital initiatives, ensuring our system remains strong, sustainable, and patient-centered. Beyond my professional role, I’m deeply engaged in community service as a member of the YMCA of Southwest Florida Association and Fort Myers Community Boards and the Lee County Disaster Advisory Committee. I believe lasting impact comes from collaboration - across healthcare, education, and public service, to improve the lives of those we serve every day.
