About Nicholas Grott

Having been born into a farm life I have been comfortable getting my hands dirty no matter what the field is that I am in. Leaving the farm and joining the US Army allowed me to experience other cultures as well as learn to be humble. After the military I took on a roll of being an owner operator in an automotive repair facility that never said no to a job. From engine replacements to full customer engine builds, we did them all. Later I moved home to be closer to some family and went back to work in the construction field as a service manager. In a very short time I took a fantastic team of individuals and together we grew our store to a very high performing facility. Later on the same company asked me to do the same thing with a store out of state. Wanting to be back with my family I took a job closer to home. I worked for a boom lift rental company. Plagued with issues, I was given the monumental task of repairing multiple stores. The issue lied within a simple principal of business, vision. After getting everyone together and sharing a simple, achievable and challenging vision all 3 locations came together and turned around. It was not without it's hardships. However, employees once again loved coming to work. I was then approached by an Agriculture dealer and offered the chance to help them with a service department containing 12-14 technicians, trucking, and a service writer. The chance to get back into the new age of agriculture excited me and I took the job. I love my roots and farming was everything to me. I'm happily employed with great owners and love the team I work with every day.
