About Nicholas Gruss

I am a Senior at Miami University majoring in Organizational Leadership and minoring in General Business. Throughout my past three years attending Miami, I have gained a plethora of knowledge that I am excited to utilize throughout my career. Three summers ago I started my first internship with a Real Estate Development company, Thrive. They are based out of Columbus, Ohio, and specialize in brownfield construction. While working for Thrive, I learned many financial accounting skills as well as managerial processes/techniques from a more macro scale. I also gained key group skills in working together with the other interns to complete a final pitch to our Executives on potential new-build locations. For the past two years, I have been working at Battle Motors as a procurement intern. Battle is a manufacturing company specializing in EV trucks based out of New Philadelphia, Ohio. My role with Battle Motors entails placing purchase orders, building/maintaining supplier relations, and supply chain forecasting. I have learned so much already working for this quickly growing company and look forward to continuing to work for them part-time this school year. I am extremely passionate about business/supply chain and am looking forward to growing my knowledge in the industry. I am currently looking for full-time employment starting in May of 2024.
