About Nicholas Hamblin

Nicholas is responsible for digital transformation at TietoEvry in Austria, supporting customers using digital technologies to build a bridge between traditional business and new digital business. He applies digital technologies (Cloud, IoT, AI/ML, Blockchain.) to make our customers faster, more productive and therefore more competitive: • Architecture Advisory, evaluating your IT landscape to help with the selection of platforms, architecture and operating model. • Cloud Transformation, accelerating development with the help of automation (CI/CD/Test), containers, cloud native development and micro service architecture. • Application Management, relying on cloud (private, public or hybrid) for scalability, faster innovation and cost transparency. Before assuming his current position, Nicholas has worked in a variety of roles at Tieto and Siemens, including business unit head for cloud technologies, delivery manager, senior project manager and in business development within the telecommunications domain. He earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at the University of Auckland, in New Zealand and developed hardware and software solutions for the Formula One industry in Cambridge, England, before moving to software R&D with Siemens in Austria.
