About Nicholas Hidalgo

I'm Nicholas, a recent graduate from the University of South Florida having majored in Political Science with a minor in Spanish. Career-wise, I've developed a passion for the field of compliance, specifically Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and risk management. Having worked as a Law Clerk at Levine Kellogg Lehman Schneider + Grossman LLP, I experienced the process of bank security from a legal point of view and was introduced to key AML practices, such as Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols and identifying fraud patterns in financial statements.Having grown up in Miami, I was immersed in a vibrant, multicultural environment that shaped my perspective and taught me to integrate diversity into both my academic pursuits and professional endeavors. Coming from a Hispanic background, I have learned to appreciate the values of resilience and community and apply them to all aspects of my life. Finally, I am a firm believer in the importance of teamwork and collaboration. I see listening as a person’s most valuable asset, and I strive every day to improve my ability to listen and learn so I can grow personally and contribute meaningfully to any team or company I join. By valuing the perspectives of others, I aim to strengthen both myself and those around me, fostering an environment where shared success is achieved through mutual respect and understanding.
