About Nicholas Holmes
Over the last 20 years I have worked in several industries. I worked in restaurants for some time and worked my way up to being a GM. I left the restaurant industry because I wanted to be home on the weekends and evening with my daughter. I moved into the HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical industry where I have been for over 10 year. Now that my daughter has grown and my son's are close to being out of school I find this is the time to go back to school and learn the cybersecurity world. I am very passionate about computers. I enjoy building them and learning about the newest hardware that is coming out. I am currently enrolled in the Thrive DX program at American University. The program has really opened my eyes to all the possibility in the cybersecurity world. I hope to find a company that will take that chance on me and find I am a fast learner and very motivated to help and work with the people around me. I have found teamwork is key to success in any industry and from what I have learned so far, cybersecurity is no different. I look forward to learning from the best and brightest in the industry.
