About Nicholas Hum

For over 20 years, I’ve been in real estate, starting from selling homes to leading township-scale developments. I came to Indonesia in 2016, and I’m still loving every moment of it. This country gave me more than just opportunity, it gave me purpose. Since founding VG and Quanta, I’ve focused on staying grounded, and building long-term trust with those who live, work, and grow alongside us. The pandemic was a defining chapter, far from a glory story, but a reminder that success comes from strong partners, shared conviction, and quiet, relentless execution behind the scenes. I am deeply grateful to my teammates and local partners who stood shoulder to shoulder with me through the journey, especially the late Pak Hendro. Alongside our friends and supporters from Japan, Singapore, Korea, and China, your belief turned bold ideas into real outcomes. Indonesia shaped the way I think and build. It gave me the space to lead boldly, and the responsibility to grow beyond myself. What I stand by is simple: walk your talk, and commit to it—that’s integrity. That belief has guided every deal, every team, every hard moment. To me, this industry isn’t just about real estate—it’s about shaping environments that unlock opportunity, dignity, and progress. Across the properties I’ve helped shape—homes, factories, retail, land… I’ve learned this: when property is reduced to just a transaction, it becomes short-lived. But when built with conviction, it leaves a legacy. And that’s what I intend to keep building—quietly, meaningfully, and with people I believe in.
