Background

About Nicholas Jelich

I help organizations navigate uncertainty and turn emerging trends into strategy. With experience in government, international business, and AI-driven research, I bring a cross-sector lens to complex challenges. I combine strategic foresight with in-depth market research to explore disruptions in science, tech, economics, and society, delivering insights that inform policy and long-term planning. My background includes a double major in Science and Business at the University of Waterloo, with minors in Biology, Economics, and Entrepreneurship. I’ve applied this interdisciplinary foundation in projects ranging from wildfire prediction using AI and satellite imagery, to technical sales strategy in Germany, to leading sponsorship for a Hyperloop team competing at SpaceX HQ. I’m skilled at synthesizing research, facilitating workshops, and bridging silos between policy, business, technology, and innovation. I thrive at the intersection of foresight, strategy, and real-world impact. I’m driven to contribute where strategic thinking, systems insight, and curiosity about the future can help organizations grow and adapt. I enjoy collaborating with others who are building the future. Let’s connect.
