Starting with a 2.1 from the University of Bradford in Civil Engineering I achieved ACA working for BDO Binder Hamlyn auditing a variety of business, retail, manufacture and Insurance. I am an established high achieving motivated individual with all of the Finance Managerial skills. I have worked in Building Societies, Manufacturing and Construction focussing on large infrastructure projects. I enjoy my work, particularly the people side, line management and achieving goals through close co-operation with others working within my organisation or with business partners. My core skill is data manipulation and explanation usually through excel but with thorough understanding of the base accounting systems and the ability to interrogate and control the primary data. I work from Purchase requisition through Payment of supply chain and recovery of funds from the Customer. I have a strong corporate and statutory reporting background working monthly and weekly to tight deadlines consistently. I add value by ensuring we make a full recovery of costs and by inputing to strategy through my financial, contractual and general business knowledge. I am strong, resilient and focussed.
