I have a track record of success in high pressure environments, having lead teams in both the entertainment and architecture industries. My hands on experience in both realms results in a deep understanding of the real world implications of design decisions. As a designer, I look for thoughtful, elegant and cost-effective solutions to client problems. I thrive at the intersection of constraints: budgetary, temporal, and regulatory issues are all pieces of the design puzzle to be embraced rather than fought. Community impact and design resilience are cornerstone values in all parts of my process. As a leader, I understand the importance of listening and building team consensus in decision making and work to thoughtfully balance this with the need for timely and effective decision making. I have a proven track record of protecting and enabling team member growth while successfully delivering projects in collaboration with multiple consultants and external stakeholders.
