About Nicholas Laufenberg

In my career, the most rewarding parts have consistently been moments where I have brought joy to another individual through teaching them a new skill. I have always had a passion for shooting, but it is when I’m able to share what I know and grow interest in what I do, that I truly feel fulfilled. My most noteworthy talents have always been the comprehension of and the ability to convey my knowledge to others. Through this, I have been fortunate enough to work with many individuals face to face, teaching precision rifle classes for both civilians as well as law enforcement, speaking at events, competing against some of the best in the world, as well as providing aid in the form of curriculum to some of our nation’s special operations soldiers. Although face-to-face interactions are the most personal way to convey information as well as aid in the understanding of that knowledge, I have also developed a love for writing and have been featured in multiple publications including Gun Trade World and Small Arms Review. Writing has become a love of mine and I am excited to continue writing for various publications as well as my own someday. A goal of mine has always been to invent something, and although it is far from my own invention, I am proud to be one of the listed inventors on a patent regarding the new Squad Fire Control System which will be utilized by our nation’s armed forces for many years to come. This career path that I have started down has been a lifelong dream of mine. Since childhood, my father told me to find a career I love, and I’m thankful to have found it. Every morning I wake up proud that I have made the best of the opportunities which put me down this path.
