About Nicholas Loaknauth

Nicholas Loaknauth is a patent attorney with a focus in intellectual property and civil litigation. Nicholas also has experience in securities and commercial litigation as well as regulatory investigations. He is a member of the New York Intellectual Property Law Association, the South Asian Bar Association of New York, the Asian American Bar Association of New York, the New York City Bar Association and TiE Angels-NY investment group. He was an associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, a prominent law firm in New York City, for four years. Prior to Cadwalader, Nicholas held internships at the United States Environmental Protection Agency, a large law firm in upstate New York and a nanotechnology company. Nicholas earned his J.D, cum laude, from Albany Law School, where he completed a Concentration, with honors, in Intellectual Property Law. He was also a member of the Albany Law School Science and Technology Journal. He earned his Masters in Chemical Engineering from the City College of New York's Grove School of Engineering and his Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering from Cornell University. Prior to law school, Nicholas worked for a New York City governmental agency as an engineer for four years.
