About Nicholas Mann

I am an engineer at heart. Initially that was with Aerospace and Astronautics and more recently it is with software. I have a problem solving and creative mind which I apply to all then challenges I encounter. Being a software consultant, this problem solving skill set has been put to use across full stack development, client communications and recently generative AI in all its forms. The creativity aspect has been used to create unique solutions and applications which have been rolled out successfully across several organisations. I am happy leading teams of developers, testers, dev-ops and more as well as able to communicate clearly within disciplines like User Research, UX/UI and Project Management. My recent Generative AI experience goes all the way from conceiving of and planning out new projects, building POC applications from scratch, managing a team to implement more robust implementations, deployment and client communications. I am just as capable of communicating the pleasures and pitfalls of GenAI to a client as I am at building out a solution. Outside of work I have a passion for 3D design and manufacture which I have carried over from my Aerospace Engineering Degree's/ Overall I have a broad skill-set based fundamentally on problem solving and seeing the bigger picture to be able to plan out solutions and foresee issues.
