In June 2011 I graduated from St. John's University School of Law. My exposure to the legal profession began in January 2007 with an internship at the Portela Law Firm, a small general practice in downtown Manhattan. In May 2007 I began interning at the Estate Strategies Group, a national network of advisors specializing in estate and business succession planning. After my first year of law school I had an internship was at the Queens County Civil Court with the Hon. Timothy Dufficy. During my third year of law school I was involved with the Immigrant Tenant Advocacy Project. Upon graduating from St. John's School of Law I sat for and passed the July 2011 Texas Bar Exam. I served a 6 month post-graduate fellowship at the New York City Human Resources Administration. In February 2012 I sat for the New York and New Jersey Bar Exams, both of which I passed. In April 2012 I began a legal internship at The Law Office of Michael C. Rakower P.C. I was admitted to practice in New Jersey in May 2012 and in New York in August 2012. In March 2013 I accepted an attorney position in the litigation department at The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
