I am currently a certified personal fitness specialist. I have developed a new business, North American Fitness and Health (NAFH), with a new concept in modern gymnasiums. It is the mission of North American Fitness and Health (a nonprofit 501.c.3) to provide America with a convenient, fun and effective opportunity for our youth and their families to increase their fitness levels and well being in an atmosphere that is bright and exciting and to which they will want to return time and again.The gym will be focused on children and their families. Currently adjunct professor for National University in San Diego teaching Homeland Security and Emergency Management. 22 year career of active duty as a US Navy SEAL, I have worked with-Naval Special Operations (SEAL/SWCC) professional education (PME) development and facilitation-DHS in all hazard preparedness and exercises; public safety communications interoperability; CBRNE/Weapons of Mass Destruction/Non-Lethal-Weapons scenario analysis-Naval Construction Battalion Reconnaissance Team (SERT) training documentation (TTP, MTP, FXP) development-Certified to teach incident command for DHS -Hold an active SECRET clearance. Conducted training courses, both on-site and on-line, for professional development and non-technical skills training to include lectures, web-based programs and hands-on sessions. I have developed emergency management all hazards exercise logistics, created new teams and concepts, coordinated and managed complex exercises dealing with large and often competing agencies. VIP representative for my commanding officer, the de facto Public Affairs Officer (PAO). Effectively and comfortably represented the command to Congressmen, generals, admirals and all visiting domestic and foreign dignitaries.
