About Nicholas Piro
In pursuit of a career as a Civil Engineer. While growing up in the SF Bay Area I have seen a constant redevelopment of the area, from the freeways being expanded to handle the dense population to Malls being torn down and redeveloped. I found this process very interesting, which lead to the pursuit of a Civil Engineering Degree at Oregon State University. Through experience with internships in the civil discipline and classes I have taken, I have confirm the want to pursuit a career as a Civil Engineer. As an Engineering Aid for the Contra Costa Water District and a summer Civil Intern for Mackenzie Inc. I have gain experience in the site planning side of the civil department. My greatest strength is in experience with using the platform AutoCAD/Civil 3D in a professional environment. I have drafted site, utility, grading, and existing conditions plans with the use of Civil 3D
