About Nicholas Prophet

I am a second year student at the University of Central Florida studying finance and a food runner at Winter Park Racquet Club. Looking for a summer 2024 internship to apply knowledge gained at the University of Central Florida. I am quick to learn have gained valuable skills such as being able to run a cash register and properly handle money as well as having the opportunity to properly handle my own personal finances. I work well with my co-workers and feel as if I can freely convey my ideas or concerns to my employer as well. I also enjoy various hobbies such as playing and listening to music. I have played saxophone for 7 years and was able to make teaching saxophone one of my volunteering activities. Learning a skill such playing the alto sax was very important to me and became one of my favorite activities. It has led me to many opportunities like teaching middle schoolers how to read and play music and to be a soloist in a jazz band. Following my love and dedication to saxophone allowed me to win the Louis Armstrong Jazz Musicianship Award at my school which has been one of the achievements I am proudest of.
