About Me: With over seven years of dedicated experience in environmental engineering, my mission is deeply rooted in driving impactful solutions in environmental compliance, potable water treatment design, and project management. I'm passionate about leveraging my expertise to create tangible results that positively impact public water systems, public health and the environment. Professional Experience: In my current role within the Safe Drinking Water Program of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP), I've played a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and safety of public water systems. I have personally managed the review and approval of Public Water Supply Permits for the treatment designs of more than 240 different water systems throughout the state. The vast amount of water systems I have managed vary in capacities ranging from large water authorities producing up to 40 million gallons per day, to small noncommunity systems with independent groundwater wells. Through the hundreds of projects I have managed, I have fostered collaborative relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for over 50 engineering consultant firms. My ability to consistently oversee multiple projects concurrently has resulted in effective management and on-time completion, driving operational readiness and compliance. In addition to the strong skills in treatment design review, I have also gained a vast amount of field experience, as most of the projects I manage require preoperational inspections once construction phases have been completed. Leading these inspections has provided me with the ability to understand the complexity and complications faced when designs are brought to life through construction and installation phases. These inspections include thorough review of installed products and proposed operational procedures. Looking Ahead: Excited to embark on a new chapter in the private sector, I'm eager to leverage my expertise into a new role related to water treatment, technical sales, and/or project management. Whether it's optimizing treatment processes, providing regulatory guidance, or spearheading innovative solutions, I'm driven to make a meaningful impact in the field.
