About Nicholas Raines

I am a graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia with a Bachelor’s degree in Human and Environmental Sciences, emphasis in Textiles and Apparel Management with a minor in Business Administration. A brief overview of what I believe I can offer professionally: • 10 years of professional and management experience have allowed me to gain effective problem-solving skills. During this time I have also worked closely with HR departments at former agencies as a recruiter and volunteer coordinator. I often take leadership roles and am comfortable in both delegating tasks and listening to those on my team to make informed decisions. • My colleagues describe me as creative, passionate, reliable, loyal, and someone who can get the job done. I recognize and appreciate quality and I hold my work ethic to a very high standard. • I am comfortable with event/program management and planning as I have coordinated many successful events during my time with previous agencies and non-profit organizations. I am familiar with marketing strategies on multiple platforms and believe that I could bring a unique set of skills and a fresh, creative perspective to any position I may be considered for.
