About Nicholas Robins
As of May 2022, I’m working for Q-CTRL to bring the vision of quantum sensing to life across a range of applications. In my off days, I'm helping to build a regenerative, closed cycle farm in the Snowy-Monaro Region of NSW, Australia ( https://jumble.farm ), with the goal of food security and resilience in the face of climate change. Previous to my current physics and farming endeavours, I ran the cold atoms laboratory in the Department of Quantum Science at the Australian National University, designing, building and operating state-of-the-art ultra-cold atom experiments. Bose-Einstein condensates, Atom Lasers and Quantum Sensing are my main practical expertise.
